Painted from the rise above Maynard Dixon’s studio near his favorite sitting rock for viewing the valley and mesas, I chose to paint the luscious spring green trees and mountain stream. The Texas drought we’re experiencing made it all the more inviting to celebrate the Utah Spring.
My name is Terri M Wells. Welcome to my blog, “Open Studio” where you will see the art I’m working on, my processes, and the ideas behind them. Since 2005, I’ve been passionate about painting watercolors on location, “plein air”. Some of the watercolors lead to abstract wall sculptures and studio paintings. Periodically I’ll sell small, more affordable, work here. My larger work can be purchased through my website www.terrimwells.com
